My Bio

You ask yourself- Who is Ms. Fournier?
This year I teach a multi-age classroom of seventh and eighth graders Medieval History. I have my Masters Degree plus an additional 47 hours in Education from Portland State University and Pacific University and have taught for over twenty years for Beaverton Schools and Portland Public Schools. I am certified Highly Qualified by the State of Oregon to teach Middle School Language Arts and Social Studies. I have had the pleasure of teaching Middle School students for the majority of my career, but have also experienced Junior English, and Fourth and Fifth grade. This is my 11th year at da Vinci Arts Middle School, and I'm so excited and honored to teach in such a positive and innovative environment. I am married to my high school sweetheart of 32 years and have two daughters who also attend Portland Public Schools. I enjoy singing, reading, writing, hiking, and watching my daughters Irish dance and run Track/Cross Country.
Class Mission
To challenge ourselves even if the risk is failure- ALWAYS.
